As an anti-war resister who started with Civil rights activism in the 60’s, came to Canada during the Vietnam Era, and remained after the repatriation, l was always curious about why P.Trudeau knowing his deep state position, supported some 60,000 war resistors to Canada? I was thankful at the time l could find refuge,however, being in Europe during the FLQ yrs l was unaware of his actions till yrs later, but the Oka crisis revealed his true status for me!
What are your thoughts about motivations of P. Trudeau during that Vietnam period ? How did it serve in the grand scheme ? I would be so grateful if you could ever so briefly enlighten me on that subject if possible. Keep up the great work, you are very much appreciated.

Alot of leading canadian Rhodes Scholars were pushing an anti-vietnam message loudly while also cultivating Canada’s ‘New Nationalism’ created with the fall of Diefenbaker in 1963 vectored around an intense anti-Americanism. So the plan was overall, turn the USA into an evil empire and perversion of itself while disgusting the world and especially americans themselves and canadians about the USA as a hypocritical evil empire as its sole nature and then cultivate anti-American radicalization within the USA among the Babyboomers especially who would then become willing players in the internal destruction of the USA itself from within and a new idiotic internationalist form of anti-nationalism among ‘peace loving, well behaved Canadians’ whose identities would become religiously shaped by not being American.
