I heartily agree. I wanted to hear more of the script, but the volume & droning went from interesting to distracting to annoying. What a shame.
Are you going to discuss Biblical angels? Not saying that they’re aliens, but they certainly are “otherworldly”. Might actually make a good comedy skit: An angel, carrying an important message from God, presents itself to a person who immediately freaks out and calls the Air Force. “An Alien! An Alien!” The angel winds up locked in a cage at Area 51 . . .
Awesome series. Can’t wait for the next one. Forgot how creepy these HG Wells books are. These snobs really live in a bubble. Their secrecy prevents them from being mirrored by normal people with a good heart and therefore recognizing their folly.

Regarding the quote from Jung on a 1910 letter to Freud:
“Fifty years later one of Jung’s pupils wrote him a letter quoting the above remarks about Christianity. In a letter of 9 Apr. 59 Jung replied:
Best thanks for the quotation from that accursed correspondence. For me it is an unfortunately inexpungable reminder of the incredible folly that filled the days of my youth. The journey from cloud-cuckoo-land back to reality lasted a long time. In my case Pilgrim’s Progress consisted in my having to climb down a thousand ladders until I could reach out my hand to the little clod of earth that I am.”
The conclusion that Jung was a “Sun worshiper” and an “occultist” is idiotic at best, if not disingenuous and malicious. It puts into question the entire documentary and the author’s intentions, and in a way the entire conspiracy industry.
