“When progress stalls, fear moves forward. And fear can only be beaten back with hope.”

-Justin Trudeau

F01- Summers Canada 2020If mindless Obama-modelled slogans get you excited, then the 2014 Liberal Party Biennial convention was the place for you. Listening to a scripted speech consisting mostly of vacuous one-liners strung together to be delivered by the Liberal Party’s new golden boy Justin Trudeau, the average delegate may have forgotten that no actual discussion of reality had actually transpired in the course of the three day convention.

The Liberal Party of Canada, under the direction of a team of Privy Councillors, and a think tank called Canada 2020 has taken the worst elements of the 2009 behaviorist takeover of America and programmed their new image around a carbon copy of Barack Obama’s “say-nothing-but-vague-generalities-while-promoting-imperial genocide” approach to wooing Canadians. Like Obama, the reform being planned for Canada is a green technocratic model which seeks to subdue civilization under the yoke of an Anglo-Dutch controlled one-world government. This new world order is dedicated to a Malthusian logic of mass de-population, and motivated by a deep hatred of Judeo Christian values which are the underpinnings of Western Civilization’s commitment to scientific and technological progress.

The theme for Justin’s bid for the 2015 elections? “Hope (and work) for Change.”

Who has presented themselves as the team of social engineers selected to carry out this green technocratic reform? A couple of Oxford-trained Rhodes scholars named Bob Rae, and Chrystia Freeland, a handful of Privy councillors, a think tank named Canada 2020 and…  Larry Summers!

Larry Summers Comes to Canada

Yes, before the golden boy himself even made it to the stage during the Montreal Biennial Convention, the crowd of several thousand Liberal delegates was treated to an extended scripted dialogue between Chrystia Freeland alongside former U.S. Treasury Secretary, and misogynistic behaviorist Larry Summers[1]. The former Harvard President and World Bank official had led in the 2009 infiltration of behaviorists under Barack Obama. Now, it turns out Summers’ name has been unveiled as the new guru for Canadian economic planning and, for any Canadian with half a brain, this should come as a jarring shock.

You may ask: What economic advice did Summers offer the leadership of the Liberal Party?

Q: Did Summers offer any advice on stopping the $1.5 quadrillion derivatives bubble from collapsing? Canada is, after all, heavily implicated with these toxic instruments, with over $23 trillion of exposure on the books of the ‘big 6’ private banks2.

A: Nope. Larry Summers actually helped create this derivatives bubble after all, with his leading role in the 1999 takedown of the FDR-era Glass-Steagall legislation which separated commercial from investment banks. During a 1998 Congressional testimony on taking down Glass-Steagall, Summers even described the honest, self regulating nature  of Wall Street in the following glowing terms:

“The parties to these kinds of contracts [‘too big to fail’ financial institutions –ed]… are largely sophisticated financial institutions that would appear to be eminently capable of protecting themselves from fraud and counterparty insolvencies and most of which are already subject to basic safety and soundness regulation under existing banking and securities laws”.

Q: Did Summers discuss the need to stop the Cyprus-modeled bail-in regime which has been ready for implementation in Canada since April 2013, and which is set to steal savings and pensions en masse during the next immanent default of securitized debts in order to save collapsing “too big to fail” banks?

F04- Carney and VolckerA: Of course not! Summers is an associate with the two principal architects of the “bail-in regime”: Mark Carney, the Governor of the Bank of England and Obama advisor Paul Volcker, all three of whom are members of the international “Group of 30” private think tank. Mark Carney’s wife Diana even sits as Vice President of Research on the Board of Canada 2020 which led in bringing Summers into Canada.

Q: Did Summers discuss the dangers which the plethora of anti-nation state free trade legislation (TPP, CETA, NAFTA 2.0) now poses to what little remains of Canada’s once prosperous agro-industrial base? NAFTA and other post 1987 free trade legislation did, after all, hollow out Canada’s physical productive manufacturing base and bring Canada into submission to a financier oligarchy as a “raw materials exporter/consumer society” with no basic production to speak of.

A: Not at all! Larry is a lifelong advocate of global financial de-regulation and an enemy of the nation state system.

So now that we know what he didn’t say, we can ask:

What did Summers actually propose during the Convention?

After describing his theory of “secular stagnation” at length, Summers laid out clearly that in his view:“the disastrous trend towards less and less government spending and employment each year and taking advantage of the current period of slack to renew and build out our infrastructure.”

Strange words for a free market monetarist who dedicated his entire career to destroying the system of productive credit which actually created infrastructure and jobs in the first place… But let’s say we give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that in uttering the above statement, Mr. Summers is being genuine. In and of themselves such programs do not seem terrible. In fact, on the surface that sounds a lot like the programs of Franklin Roosevelt in 1933-45. But before we get too caught up in the surface appearance of things, the first question worth asking is: How will these things be accomplished if the economic bubble tearing down the world economy is not addressed, or if Glass-Steagall’s restoration isn’t discussed? The answer is: They cannot be done in the context of global financial collapse.

Another question worth asking is: What kind of jobs and infrastructure will direct this government spending? To what ends will these means be directed?

F06- Gore and WynneAccording to Summers and his City of London cohorts, the infrastructure to be built vectors on 1) transportation (which is good if you have a productive economy, but superfluous if the economy is service-based) and 2) green energy. This means smart grids, low energy-flux density sources of energy such as wind mills and solar panels, while shutting down carbon based energy, and especially nuclear power, as the advanced cases of Quebec and Ontario now display. Canada 2020-sponsored events like Al Gore and Kathleen Wynne’s joint November 2013 announcement of the greening of Ontario, and Wynne’s destruction of the two nuclear reactors previously commissioned by the previous Liberal administration of Dalton McGuinty should give one a chance to consider what fate awaits the rest of Canada3.

While this may create momentary jobs, these low-flux density energy sources can only be guaranteed to destroy the industrial economy necessary to sustain a long term productive work force and real growth. Mussolini made the trains run on time and Hitler created the autobahn, but neither one or the other established a genuine productive economy.

While Freeland and Summers advocate “empowering the middle class”, they neglect to mention that a society delusional enough to base itself upon green energies will be forced to accept the permanent loss of its capital intensive-energy intensive industrial base, as those green sources which they propose are entirely inadequate to sustain a modern industrial economy.

Just in case you think that Summers and his admirer Freeland have any actual concern for either helping the poor or saving the environment, let this 1999 leaked memo signed by Summers remind you that he has always been nothing but a sociopathic imperialist to the core when he wrote: “I think the economic logic behind dumping a load of toxic waste in the lowest wage countries is impeccable and we should face up to that . . . I’ve always thought that under-populated countries in Africa are also vastly under-polluted.”[4]

So what is the true intention behind such programs advocated by Canada 2020, the Rhodes Scholars Bob Rae, Freeland, and Justin’s new financial guru Summers?

Genocide… with a Green Face

None had said it better than fellow Privy Council Member Maurice Strong, who in 1990 was about to work with Ontario Premier Bob Rae in shutting down Ontario’s nuclear energy sector, when he said:

F07- Strong“What if a small group of world leaders were to conclude that the principal risk to the Earth comes from the actions of the rich countries? And if the world is to survive, those rich countries would have to sign an agreement reducing their impact on the environment. Will they do it? The group’s conclusion is ‘no’. The rich countries won’t do it. They won’t change. So, in order to save the planet, the group decides: Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?”5

Just like Trudeau’s advisor Gerald Butts, Strong also headed the World Wildlife Fund for his boss Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburg and Queen Elizabeth. Philip, who is famous for saying “in the event that I am re-incarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus in order to contribute something to solve overpopulation”[6].

The fact is, that unless the proposals for a Global Glass-Steagall, National Banking and a New Bretton Woods fixed exchange rate system were adopted in the immediate future, no infrastructure or serious nation building measures could have any hope of becoming law. Without these reforms, urgent war avoidance measures were all but impossible and a nuclear confrontation with Russia and China virtually inevitable.

A New System of Scientific Progress

Should such programs for a new financial order adopted in short order, then it were necessary that the new metric of value within the framework of that new system be based not upon money (or some other arbitrary value such as “carbon footprints”), but rather as the increase of the energy-flux density and potential population density of the species of mankind as a whole. As Lyndon LaRouche outlined this point recently:

F08- Cones anti entropy“Money as such, actually “earns” absolutely nothing, when it were measured on the scale of human realities. To speak in relatively specific terms: human progress can be fairly measured, in terms of its net physical effect, per capita, as an effective increase of the net energy-flux density efficiently expressed, per capita, relevant to the environment in which human purposeful activity is effectively expressed. The notion of chemistry as such, serves currently as an excellent first approximation of the categorical, ontological species-difference of mankind from beast.7

The clearest and most “practical” options on the agenda now for mankind to demonstrate this power of increasing its energy flux density by transforming our relationship to the chemistry of nature involves moving quickly towards a Fusion-based economy, building the North American Water and Power Alliance (NAWAPA) and mining the moon for its abundant deposits of Helium-3. It is by moving towards Fusion and Helium-3 mining that mankind will finally be capable of redefining his existence from a simple “resource using” species to a “resource creating” species. For anyone uninformed enough to think that this were impossible, look only upon the current top down policy platform of the Chinese government, and reality will be re-defined more quickly than you would have imagined.

Thus, if the Liberal Party seriously wants to rebuild its base and find some dignified legitimacy, it must immediately reject the influence of Summers, and the cabal running Canada 2020 and instead return to the C.D. Howe-St. Laurent- Mackenzie King dynamic which struggled to work with our neighbours for the development of the general welfare and productivity of the nation as a whole. All talk of “social justice”, medicare, pensions, education and other “soft” infrastructure could not occur in any durable way if increasing rates of production both in terms of quality and quantity were committed to. Without breaking through the bounds limiting the potential of the present population by going towards Fusion power, and a space-based economy, this growth which must occur for humanity’s survival to be ensured, would be forfeit.

These are the true anti-imperial roots which gave birth to Canada’s aerospace industry, and nuclear power sector, and if we are to embark upon the 21st century reconstruction measures vectored around scientific and technological progress as illustrated by Lyndon LaRouche and the Committee for the Republic of Canada, then Canadians from all parties will have to do some serious soul searching and clear their minds of a lot of imperial myth-making which has conditioned us to believe that Canada’s identity is founded upon our yearning to be green, un-revolutionary, anti-American and obedient to obsolete traditions.

[1] Summers caused a furor in a 2005 conference by arguing that women were statistically inferior in science than their male counterparts due to primarily genetic factors. After having expressed these views, Summers was fired from his Presidency at Harvard. See the article by Suzanne Goldenberg which appeared in the January 18, 2005 issue of The Guardian Why women are poor at science, by Harvard President.

3 Two key architects of Ontario’s disasterous Green Energy Act and Feed-in tariff program are George Smitherman, former Minister of Infrastructure and the Environment and Gerald Butts, former President of the World Wildlife Fund of Canada who served as Premier Dalton McGuinty’s Principal Secretary. Butts left his job at WWF Canada to become the principal advisor to Justin Trudeau and both he and Smitherman were founding advisory board members of Canada 2020 in 2006.
